Loser, loser: Jim Carrey’s cold, dead diatribe
Conservatives are simply sick of being dissed. We don’t want to hear it anymore.
Too bad famous people won’t stick to what they became famous for. If you write children’s books, don’t lecture me about class warfare. An actor, dancer, comedian, football player, rock star? Entertain me. Then please oh please, just shut up.
Simple enough, but an impossibility for many famous folks these days, which is unfortunate. They don’t get it. They actually believe we care what they think when, truth is, we only want to indulge the fantasy; how disappointing to see just how arrogant, clueless and dimwitted celebs are once they turn off the microphone and remove the makeup. Worse yet, through social media, they insult many of the people who make them rich. Go figure. read more »
QUOTE MASH: CPAC’s Generation Rock Stars
Some of CPACs best: West, Rubio, Bush, Love, Carson, Walker, Cruz, and Paul.
You know all that blather about conservatism being the philosophy of dying old white guys? Tell that to the attendees at this past weekend’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). Fifty-four percent of attendees were under 25-years-old; less than a quarter over the ripe old age of 40. Rising stars from Marco Rubio and Rand Paul to Dr. Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Kelly Ayotte, and Mia Love rocked the message of limited government and American Exceptionalism.
As on cue, the merchants of hate retched slimeballs, calling Dr. Carson a “joke in the black community,” “token,” “negro d’jour,” “oreo” and “Uncle Tom” on social media sites. And unlike the CPAC attendees who roundly denounced a white supremacist who crashed the conference, nary a single leftie has disavowed the racist remarks by American University Professor Deen Freelon and others.
For those who didn’t get a chance to review or watch the speakers, we’ve created a QUOTE MASH of some of the best: West, Rubio, Bush, Love, Carson, Walker, Cruz, and Paul. Enjoy~! read more »
Liberal racism: Whacking the leftist myth of pan-cultural compassion
Today’s liberal establishment is the 21st Century version of Uncle Tom’s Simon Legree.
What in the hell is going on with the American left?
Over-the-top rhetoric is nothing new in liberal circles; yet lately the tenor has been uglier than usual. Shrill cries from the mainstream press and pundits label traditionalists as “rubes,” or “pale, male and stale,” while their minions, dutifully guzzling the Kool-Aid, are trolling conservative websites shrieking about class, ethnic and gender warfare.
Doesn’t make sense—their guy won. They’ve told us over and over how patriotism is passé, that a new age of global relativism is replacing racialist Western culture. We’re done, finished: out with the old (and white); in with the new (brown, black, and young). read more »
QUOTE MASH: The left’s worst nightmare—straight talking conservatives
The right has plenty of folks that are smart, sassy and say it as it is.
Barack Obama’s hubris is legendary; his acolytes an obedient army of foot soldiers willing to attack the motives, reputation, even the age and ethnicity of anyone who dare criticize. Disagree with this White House and you will be accused of being a racist, idiot, old-white-fool, or if you’re really lucky, all three. The arrogance has reached a new level when liberal journalists and former Clinton Administration aides incite the wrath of Obama—just ask Bob Woodward, Lanny Davis and National Journal Editor Ron Fournier.
Those of us right-of-center are used to the smears. But since we’re never ones to be skittish, we have plenty in our ranks that are smart, sassy and say it as it is. As for the so-called “lack of diversity” of American conservatives, well, that’s hogwash: Malkin to Gutfeld, Ailes to Ingraham, Elder, Loesch, Miller, and Tantaros. A Colonel and a Judge, and the Goldberg twins (metaphorically speaking, that is).
Each and every one of them, in their own words, grinding the gears of the intolerant Left…
Detroit: The Killing of a great American city
Detroit was the Great American Dream sucked dry by the Great Society.
Detroit holds a special place in my heart. It is where my grandmother, mother and I were born and my dad arrived as a teenager to work 16-hour days on the assembly line and drive a taxi. Once a blue-collar haven of two million people with leafy neighborhoods and a world renowned zoo and arts institute, it earned the nickname “city of homes” because it didn’t have the crowded high-rise tenements of the northeast.
Today, however, the bustling metropolis is a crumbling, crime-ridden shell of its former greatness: In 1950, it proudly claimed America’s highest per-capita income; today it grips the lowest. For that, we can thank 60 years of misguided liberal policies. read more »
Stop the excuses: Killer Christopher Dorner is no hero
Trying to justify the unjustifiable and exploiting yet another tragedy for a political agenda is unseemly and immoral
After four murders and a manhunt that ended with his suicide and a widely televised cabin fire, Christopher Dorner gained thousands of new fans. This is the man who assassinated a 27-year-old woman, her fiancé and two police officers because of a years-old beef with the Los Angeles Police Department. Blaming racism for his dismissal, the ex-cop wrote a rambling manifesto that paradoxically called for stiffer gun control laws.
Unhinged? “I sort of expected it,” said a former girlfriend. read more »
QUOTE MASH: American perspectives, circa 2013
Young, old, multi-ethnic...today's most intutive conservative thinkers
Leave the shrieking to Maddow and Matthews, the scurrilous accusations to Maher, Media Matters, Bashir, The New York Times, and the slobbering Obama acolytes. The demagoguery they spew painting conservatives as a racist band of dying white brothers may assuage their hate-mongering base but will do little to inspire the hearts and minds of people in our great nation.
That challenge is best left to those whose ideals expand beyond pandering to the chosen few. And contrary to conventional wisdom, the individuals who respect the intelligence and values of the American people are not progressives, liberals or leftists; they are independents, libertarians and conservatives.
Starting today, we are sharing the words of today’s most intuitive thinkers, whether they be writers, commentators, academics, business and military leaders, or in the political arena. They are young, middle-aged and elderly, male and female; gay, heterosexual, black, Latino and white. In other words, Americans. All of us.

Liberals brand patriotism as militaristic gimmickry. What would Reagan think?
The left takes aim at patriotic displays at sporting events
This week would have been the 102nd birthday of Ronald Reagan. Born above a general store in Tampico, Illinois, our 40th President personified our national spirit—hardworking, honest, independent, sometimes stubborn and always optimistic. He was an unwavering and unapologetic patriot whose love of country endeared him to millions of his fellow Americans and enraged our nation’s foes.
Thirty years later, however, Reagan’s kind of sunny patriotism is under attack. Not by international foes of old, but by malcontents on the American left who fear a chorus of “America the Beautiful” at a football game is “vaudeville that quiets political dissent.” You can’t make this stuff up. read more »
The new anti-establishment conservative: Fighting the liberal bully machine
We don't have to take it anymore. How honest conservatives can (and do!) fight against the liberal establishment...
Fighting the establishment doesn’t come naturally to conservatives. Playing by the rules, we don’t rage against the machine—we embody it. By contrast, liberals, so smug and high-minded, identify themselves as the undisputed guardians of righteousness: Hope, change, compassion, acceptance, tolerance. And cool, so damn cool. Now, that’s progressive.
Funny thing about conventional wisdom, especially when you’re the one defining it. Sometimes it just isn’t true. The left in America controls the Presidency and Senate, mass media, entertainment and academia; our politics, press, culture and education. Think about it. Beyond the vulgarities, ridiculing traditional values and exploiting the downtrodden—it is clear liberals have become the establishment they so loathe.
They are the “man.” read more »
Go ahead, make my day: Project Veritas exposes media gun control hypocrites [VIDEO]
James O'Keefe (who outed Planned Parenthood and ACORN) exposes the hypocrisy of editors, MSNBC host & Eric Holder
What? Liberal journalists being exposed as HYPOCRITES?! I know, I know, hard to believe, but…
In late December, the Journal News published an interactive map along with the names and addresses of law-abiding gun owners in suburban New York City’s Westchester and Rockland counties. Not only were the gun owners incensed for privacy reasons, others–prosecutors, judges, or others who are hiding from stalkers or violent ex-spouses–fear for their safety.
The left-wing media remains smug and unrepentant. The public’s right to know, the public’s right to know, they holler! In their world-view, gun owners are bad people who deserve any discomfort this list might bring. read more »
