The Death Of A Nation

Have you looked around at this country lately? Have you wondered just what exactly is going on? You’re not alone.

There are millions of people in this country absolutely sickened and outraged at the direction our new President and Congress are taking our beloved country.

What can we do about it? The answer is simple, elect someone else.

Outside of a full scale coup, our sacred right to vote is our most powerful tool in the arsenal of democracy. We have this power, yet, in our inherent weakness, vote for people who pour honey in our ears and then betray our trust.

Our Government is OUR government, not the will of a few to subjugate the will of the many. Amnesty, Gay Marriage and Appeasers all are the reason our country is going downhill, not our wealth or our values.

Our belief that this country has the greatest form of government given to man is not in vain, it is not a display of proudness. It is a shining example of what it means to be free, to be able to chart your own course in life without the “Central Committee” choosing your direction for you.

When Rush said “I hope he fails!!” I know exactly what he was talking about because I was listening to him when he said it. I know the context; I know the reasoning behind him having to speak those words. You know what? I want him to fail as well because I know what direction our current administration wants to take this country and that is precisely the direction I do NOT want it to take.

The path to socialism is not the reason this country was created. It was not the reason blood was spilled on the grounds of countless battlefields around the world. The path to socialism is one reason among many why the blood was spilt and we are hurtling towards a day to make those who died for the freedoms we now enjoy, a death in vain.

Socialism, like organized religion, which looks great on paper; is an abject failure. Do not take this as a way to say that I am an atheist or something along those lines. They fail because they restrict the very nature of humanity. They fail because of one simple word, Greed.

Our nation was founded by white, landowning slaveholders who originally thought it best that members of their own caste to be the only ones allowed to vote. They later came to their senses and betrothed upon us two very sacred documents, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. These two documents laid the foundation of the greatest nation on earth.

Now we have an entire administration trying to chip away at it piece by piece. This is not the first time our beautiful documents have been conveniently been forgotten.

Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Herbert Hoover, Franklin Roosevelt, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter and finally Barack Obama.

All of these Presidents, their administrations and even more, at one point or another in their terms sought to ignore or circumvent the Constitution. Until Obama came along, I thanked GOD that these other men weren’t able to get their true dream realized. Now I see a man with a sinister plan, a man who wants to make our country into something it was not founded for.

And you know what the worst thing about this is? It just may happen. He is the most liberal President ever and he has a very nice support group behind him in Congress. All of his plans and ideas will have no problem passing with the glut of liberals in Congress.

We have the ability to stop this, it isn’t too late. We have to act now, otherwise; our beautiful country will die a slow miserable death under the oppressive thumb of a socialist government.

This newest test of socialism must be stamped out in its infancy, it must be reversed as soon as possible because if we aren’t able to get a majority vote in Congress in 2010, this country will be no more as we now know it.

Our financial markets, our health care and many other facets of life in this country will crumble under and with it, our freedom.

Remember to Vote and vote often, this is your country, take charge and be proud that you live in this America, which Ronald Reagan referred to as “The Shining City upon a Hill”
