The Conspiracy Of The Lawless.
Barack Hussein Obama considers himself above the law, as he has shown on myriad occasions during his reign of durance vile. His DeMarxist Congressional leaders certainly have not scruple one between them. We can go right on down the list of his government from top to bottom.
Hillary Clinton is culpable in what is obviously and rapidly becoming the greatest foreign policy implosion in modern history. The Justice Department, under the uber-lawless Eric Holder, has set new and ominous standards for the utter disregard of the rule of law and the US Constitution. Take your pick. From Kathleen Sebelius, who aided and abetted Planned Parenthood’s illegalities in the State of Kansas… to the activities of Janet (the mustache) Napolitano, who has fostered an entire hierarchy in her department of “like-minded” individuals who have made harassment of a sexual nature an unpleasant reality for those who have to serve under them. More on Ms. Janet later. read more »
Dems Prematurely Replace “Blame Bush” With “Blame Romney”
Has Mitt Romney sewed up the 2012 election and begun issuing policy pronouncements via the Office of the President-Elect? That’s what you’d think to hear mainstream news commentators tell it.
Witness the media uproar over Romney’s absolutely true, courageously firm observation that President Obama’s State Department is more interested in sparing the feelings of Muslim terrorists than standing up for American values.
Rather than evaluating and refuting his charges; rather than critically reexamining Obama’s approach; rather than considering the repercussions of the President’s conciliatory stance toward our enemies; liberals… blamed the crisis on someone who doesn’t even work for the government.
Rachel Maddow cried that we were in the middle of a tense, hair-trigger confrontation requiring suave diplomatic prowess, and that Romney may just have sent rioting protestors over the top. read more »
The Very Thin Red Line.
Barack MaoBama is standing on Israel’s last nerve. Having abrased his way through all the goodwill the Israelis can muster, he’s really barking up the wrong tree. The Israelis, unlike our Mr Obama, are not deluded by anything this worst president in American history, or his lackeys, have to say. Stark realism is always at the root of the Israeli soul. It’s been deeply ingrained in them by centuries of pogroms suffered during the long diaspora, culminating in the ovens of Auschwitz, Chelmno, Belzec… or any of the names which are associated with the holocaust.
MaoBama has read the Israelis wrong from day one. Have you noticed any of the pics of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the Anointed One? Netanyahu doesn’t take his eyes off of Obama for a split second. His gimlet-like stare is like somebody watching a venomous snake in the grass around camp. This is the face of a man who has seen the real Obama and is not impressed. Benjamin Netanyahu knows exactly who and what Barack Hussein is. read more »
The 3-D Democrats
Now that the Republicans and Democrats have finished their political conventions, I want to share a few thoughts as we began the home stretch for the November 6, 2012 elections. It is uncontested that Republicans continue to support and stand for moral and spiritual values, which they unanimously included in the Republican Party Platform from its conception.
Then we have the Democrats, who voted for a platform that was void of moral and spiritual values until their convention leadership placed “God”, by name only, back in their platform, even though the delegates clearly voted to keep Him out. Out of the entire Democratic Convention, it is that platform vote that should be a major warning to all Americans who understands the important role that the belief in God played in our country’s Founding. It is unbelievable that the Democrats really voted to kick God out of their party … or is it?
After all, it is the liberal left and their representatives in every branch of our Government, that kicked God out as the Creator of the Universe .. that kicked God out of the hospital delivery room .. that kicked God out of our public school system .. that kicked God out of the sanctity of the institution of marriage .. that kicked God out of the human DNA structure that He created .. and the list would go on and on! And they even flaunt their decisions in the face of God; by saying it is their “Christian” faith that led them to these positions. read more »
A Bug’s Life
A Children's Movie That We Can Learn From
Last December I noticed the children’s animated film “A Bug’s Life” was on cable TV. I remembered when I took my daughters to see A Bug’s Life in the late 1990’s, I thought the movie could have a real message for political conservatives. I’m sure this film, was written and produced by liberals, but to me, a conservative message just jumped out. But back then, in those primitive days, without an internet forum, I had no way of commenting on the film. But, times have changed and an average person can voice his/her opinions, despite the liberal media monopoly. The political implications I saw in the 1990’s are even more pertinent today than then.
I wrote most of this blog last winter, but never posted it. I couldn’t think of how to end this. The Wisconsin recall fight was revving up. We could have been a public employee/teachers union ruled state by the end of June. On the national level, the Republican challengers to Obama, in their marathon primary fight, were formed up in the usual Republican circular firing squad. So, I delayed finishing this blog. read more »
Why Muslims Hate Hate Hate Us (They are Failures, We Are Weak)
A guest Post by: Whiskeysplace
A Conservative Look at Technology, Culture, Business, and How They Intersect.
With much of our embassies in flames (Cairo, Sanaa, Khartoum, Tunis, Benghazi) or threatened (London, Paris, Berlin), Americans are wondering “Why Do Muslims Hate Us?” Or perhaps why they hate hate hate us. Most also wonder what Obama’s plan or response will be (and we already know it: Sharia Surrender). But the real reasons are this: Muslims are failures, and they know it. We are weak, and they know that too. Muslim Failures plus American weakness = Burning Embassies and murdered Ambassadors. It is that simple.
No one has more reason to hate Russia and Putin than Muslims. The Second Chechen War may have led to as many as 40,000 Chechens killed. The now-dead Aslan Mashkodov claimed 200,000 Chechens died in both Chechen Wars. There is an ongoing insurgency still in Chechnya and related Caucuses Mountains Republics. In addition to that, Russia aided Khadaffi, and stood by him as he faced his ouster, to the dismay of the hard-line jihadists and Salafists who fought to get rid of Khadaffi. Not only that, but Russia under Putin has actively aided Bashir Assad, and his despotic regime, responsible for the deaths of thousands of Muslims, as Assad attempts to retain his Alawite (Sunnis do not consider them even Muslim) control as an Iranian Shia client state over Sunni jihadists backed by Turkey and Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. read more »
U tube Video, WHAT?
Attacks on US Embassy, Middle East
Ok so some guy, an ex con from California Produces a "Trailer" for a "Movie" that depicts the life of the Muslim Profit Mohamid?! and this starts a fire strom which happens to fall on 9/11 by chance! Please, now theres banter about if the "trailer" is an excuse or if its the real deal.. Ok my 2 cents, its a joke of a "trailer" and an excuse. The basis for the attacks has nothing and yet everything to do with them. The fact is we as Americans have the right given to us by our creator to express ourselves freely. This right burns deep into the Middle East, they don't burn our embassy's, our Flag and kill our people for some fictiscous u tube video, they do it because we have U tube. Because we are free to be who we are, believe what we want, live the way we want. That doesn't work under the control of most emams.. This experiment, the Constitution is salt in there wounds, it threatens there very core of beliefs. If America where to vanish from the face of the Earth they would find something, someone else to "Rally" against. Thats how Rascism works. Thats how Bullys survive. The fact of the matter is these Attacks are from our lack of consistency, our lack of leadership. We support the "Arab Spring" and yet voice our support for Isreal. We condem Iran for acquiring Nuclear power and yet do nothing to stop them. We are, under this Administration, a Shadow of a world power. We lead from behind and that is Weakness. read more »
Fruits Of Obama Foreign Policy.
Absolutely incredible! Our first Moslem President has made the ineptitude of the Carter years look like sheer genius. How is it that someone, who is supposedly so tuned-in to all things Moslem, can misread the entire Middle East for so long?. Unless by purposeful intent, which I suspect is more truth than fiction, denigrating and denying our allies and giving aid and comfort to our enemies.
Watching the knuckleheads of the Lame Stream Press contorting themselves, to somehow spin what’s occurring across the Arab world, would be funny if it weren’t so tragic. The events in Cairo and Libya, by any definition, are an act of war against the United States of America. By any definition, that is except the feckless inept tools of the MaoBama government, headed by the mindless cackling coming from the State Department’s foggiest, none other than the Hildebeast herself, Hillary Rodham Clinton, whose grandiose visions of herself as president in 2016 just went up in flames, along with our embassy in Libya. Sovereign American territory violated by carefully planned and orchestrated acts of war by Islamists. read more »
Health Care Reform and Obamacare Are Not Synonyms
Last weekend Mitt Romney left grasping liberals and panicky conservatives aghast over some harmless Obamacare musings on Meet the Press.
When David Gregory asked Romney what he would do with some of the more popular provisions of Obamacare if elected, Romney replied, “I’m not getting rid of all of health care reform. Of course, there are a number of things that I like in health care reform that I’m going to put in place.”
The media went crazy. First John Roberts, now Mitt Romney. Everywhere conservatives are wiping the scales from their eyes to behold the glories of Obamacare!
The Hill’s Brent Budowsky trumpeted, “Romney praises and endorses ObamaCare key achievements!” He wrote: “It is good that Mitt Romney gives Barack Obama credit where it is due, by praising and endorsing two of the most important achievements of the president’s healthcare plan. Because of President Obama’s leadership, and now with Gov. Romney’s full support, folks with pre-existing conditions will be covered by insurance, and countless kids will be covered by the insurance of their parents.” read more »
Life On The Old Plantation – Mindless Lockstep At The DNC.
The lemmings go marching two by two… it’s the same oddball mishmash of fringe extreme left-wing wing nuts. This time with a really ominous refrain.
The gaggle of misfits, malcontents and freeloaders came together three times to deny the very existence of God. From a biblical standpoint, probably not a smart thing to do. From a political standpoint, it may just have cost the DeMarxists whatever fringe elements of the fundamentalist south they still held under their hypnotic gaze. Nominal Catholics, those identifying as Catholic but not actively practicing, who as ‘independents’ went big for MaoBama in the 2008 election, may desert the sinking ship as well… rightly interpreting the obvious disdain for the Creator as an attack on Mother Church.
I broke a rule I’ve had for myself from just about the time Dee (my editor) convinced me to begin this column. I’d purposely avoid the usual news coverage of proceedings that I’d considered writing about. I didn’t want outside postulations to color my opinions of events. Having admitted to watching the RNC convention while in the hospital, I did watch portions of the DNC luvfest. read more »
No, We’re Not Better Off
Just in time for the Democratic National Convention, Obama supporters are happily claiming that, why, yes we are better off now than we were four years ago, thank you very much.
For starters, they’re touting Vice President Joe Biden’s bumper sticker slogan “Osama bin Laden is dead, and GM is alive.”
Actually, bin Laden and top al Qaeda members killed in President Obama’s wanton drone attacks should be alive and getting waterboarded in Gitmo for all the intelligence we can wring out of them. General Motors should have gone through bankruptcy proceedings and, if it couldn’t shake off its bloated union benefits packages and improve its efficiency, died.
But I think what Democrats are crowing about is the general economic picture. They would have us believe that, even if job growth isn’t picking up quite as much as we would like, at least it’s better now than it was near the start of the recession.
No, it’s not.
It’s not even as good as it was when Obama took office. read more »
They’re Democrats – Don’t Offend Them
“Remember they’re Democrats – don’t offend them,” my wife has occasionally said to me, before we attend social events with known Democrats. Offend them? How could I offend them! I’ve stopped urinating in bathroom sinks years ago; I rarely spit chewing tobacco on carpets, I may have a few uncouth moments now and then, but nothing very offensive.
But those are physical behaviors, what about beliefs? Beliefs, in particular beliefs they do not agree with, can be highly offensive to Democrats. I’m a conservative, even if I didn’t say anything conservative, if they just knew my political opinions, they’d be offended. To think, someone who still clings to his guns and religion, at the same party, the horror. Liberal media propaganda conditions Democrats to believe all Republicans are racist, sexist, Koch-sucking, homophobes. Democrats believe it too, propaganda is a powerful tool. read more »
While I Was Gone.
In writing, especially in the era of the new media, you’re only as good as your last publication… in our case, that was a couple of weeks ago. Dee, my fearless editor, and I both have full time careers. Dee in particular has an awful lot on her plate… I honestly don’t understand how she does it all.
We’ve experienced a sort of enforced hiatus due to a long overdue hiatal hernia reduction that I should have taken care of years ago. The operation, as such, went extremely well, except that I contracted pneumonia as a result of the anesthesia… so I spent a couple of extra days at the VA hospital up at Palo Alto. Great hospital, superb care… but undoubtedly the worst place there is to get any rest. So, I’ve spent the last few days luxuriating in rest and unbroken sleep.
Nothing bores me worse than other people’s health issues, and rightly so… it has no place here. But I felt that we owed an explanation to our regular readers. My stay at the hospital did give me a chance to watch the Republican National Convention in detail… much more so than I ever could have, otherwise.
Cutting Waste and Fraud Is Not a Medicare Reform Proposal
A candidate who promises to preserve, protect, and defend Medicare, save it from going bankrupt, implement his plan for only those under 55, and let you keep your benefits exactly as they are now if you don’t like his changes: this is the candidate Democrats are portraying as a faceless monster diabolically wheeling Grandma off a cliff.
We’ve reached the apotheosis of the Democratic Party’s political strategy: take the Republican who’s most likely to do it the favor of justifying, rescuing, and strengthening its bloated, big-government welfare programs, and then smear him as their callous, murderous destroyer.
Ten days after Mitt Romney’s Vice-Presidential nomination announcement, liberals are still spreading the meme that Paul Ryan was a suicidal choice, because he dared come up with a serious Medicare reform proposal—gradually turn the program into a voucher-supported private system—and include it in two House-passed federal budgets. The left waited about five minutes after the VP pick, then cried, “See—Romney didn’t get a Ryan bounce. He screwed up!”
Wait till Americans hear Paul Ryan debate Joe Biden and field questions from a smarmy, economically illiterate press. Then they won’t be crowing that Romney committed political hari-kari.
Back in 2010, the left claimed that Tea Party candidates would hurt the GOP in the midterm elections, because Americans wouldn’t tolerate their extremist, far-right views. Then Republicans won a historic landslide, picking up 63 seat read more »
Ryan… The Real Deal.
Paul Ryan scares the living daylights out of the DeMarxists. With good reason. He was the perfect choice for Mitt Romney, whom many conservatives considered to be too vanilla, too privileged, too rich and out of touch with ‘the common man’. More importantly, he was viewed as another inside-the-beltway Republican selection.
Conservatives, deeply mistrustful of what we have come to recognize as the Republicrat establishment who brought us magnificent beltway failures such as Bob Dole and my favorite, John ‘You can’t do it my friend’ McCain, were understandably leery of what they saw as another insider pick. Many still are.
Conservative patriots saw Romney as soft on illegal immigration and, worse, pro government-run healthcare vis à vis his Massachusetts health care plan. Coming at a time when the country had been virtually taken over by a Marxist cabal bent on turning this country into a third-world swamp, to forever bind its citizens to the slavish penury of communism. He was seen as too compromised and too weak to take on the DeMarxists. read more »
Treat Businesses the Same -- Let the Market Decide
The Marketplace Fairness Act, legislation introduced by Rep. Steve Womack (R-AK), would allow states to collect sales taxes from purchases made on the Internet.
Supporters of this bill believe that is unfair that a small bookstore on Main Street has to collect sales taxes while a multi-billion dollar bookstore like Amazon does not.
The end result of the disparity is that the government is encouraging shoppers to do their purchases online -- creating an incentive to not support local neighborhood stores.
Some conservatives oppose the legislation, most notably the Heritage Foundation and Sen. Jim DeMint. (R-SC). DeMint, a Tea Party champion, argues that the legislation constitutes "taxation without representation," allowing states to apply their tax codes to non-residents with mere economic presence in the state. read more »
Illegal criminal aliens get released to US cities and towns
So, an illegal alien comes into your home and assaults and robs you. Worse, they rape and murder your family. Good thing is they get caught and go to jail, right? Even better, they get deported back to their original county. Not so fast.
Some countries won’t take back their citizens after they’ve commited crimes. The criminals get released back to the streets in our cities and town only to commit more crimes. Fox News reports:
Long after they were ordered out of the country, thousands of criminal aliens from places like China, Cuba, Vietnam and Pakistan remain free in the United States to commit new crimes because their home countries refuse to take them back.
For years, this unique problem percolated under the political radar. But recent crimes by immigrant felons have lawmakers scrambling to punish nations that refuse to repatriate their own citizens. The Obama administration and many Democrats in Congress, however, are blocking punitive legislation, preferring to let the State Department handle the issue diplomatically.
Here are some examples of what I’m talking about here. Via FoxNews.com read more »
Romney Sabotages Campaign by Selecting Likable, Articulate Budget Wunderkind
Democrats are hiding their terror at Paul Ryan’s selection as Mitt Romney’s running mate by claiming he was a terrible pick, his ideas horrify people, and now Romney will never be able to run from voters’ fears about his callous persona.
Lost in Democrats’ self-deluding hosannas is the possibility that Romney chose Ryan because he agrees with him and that Ryan will help the ticket.
In “5 Things Mitt Doesn’t Want You to Know About Paul Ryan,” ABC News announced that Ryan’s “budget plans include big cuts” that will enable the Obama campaign to continue its “Romneyhood narrative.”
Outside the Norfolk, Virginia rally where Romney announced his pick, Andrea Mitchell cried that Ryan is “not a pick for suburban moms, not a pick for women.”
Candy Crowley declared the Ryan pick “some sort of ticket death wish.”
Walter Shapiro warned that Ryan’s budgets put Social Security and Medicare “in the cross-hairs.” read more »
I Propose Moratorium on Complaining About Romney/Ryan
Turning RINO - Temporarily
Already I’ve seen social media comments from constitutional conservatives complaining about Romney’s selection of Paul Ryan. It’s a given, no viable candidate can ever meet their standards. I could have predicted it, it would not have mattered who was selected, the VP pick would have taken a vote in favor of the wrong piece of legislation or made an endorsement they didn’t like. So I would like to propose a moratorium on complaining about Romney/Ryan. No candidate who accepts our constitutional positions would be electable anyway. I wish they would be, but with the left wing control of the media, the public teacher’s union focusing more on socialist indoctrination than education and so many of the churches, who should be fighting the rot in our society, meekly going along with liberalism, it just isn’t so. We have much education to do and we need some time to do it. read more »
