Lott wants Iraq progress by the fall

Another crack in the Congressional GOP?

WASHINGTON - Senate Republican Whip Trent Lott (news, bio, voting record) says Iraq has until about fall before GOP members will need to see results.

Don't know where he comes up w/the fall as a deadline, but there it is. I would feel a little better if our members in Congress would simply stick to supporting our commanders in the field and keep their time-tables to themselves.
