Award Winning Pre-Debate Commentary
Dennis Miller Never Fails to Please...
During Wednesday evening's pre-presidential debate analysis, Dennis Miller made one of his regular appearances on The O'Reilly Factor.
Bill O'Reilly asked him to put himself into John McCain's shoes for the moment and questioned Miller as to what he would bring up in the debate directly to Barack Obama if given the chance.
Dennis Miller's reply:
I'd ask him what he meant by "spread the wealth". Listen, Barack, the next time a plumber comes to your house to root out a pipe and it's time to settle up and he asks for $60 bucks, and you tell him you want to give him $55 bucks and give the other $5 away to people who need it more than him... at that point, the plumber thinks you're more full of it than the pipe.
So, that "spread the wealth" thing, I'd ask him what he meant by that.
Classic!
This obviously in regards to yesterday's exchange Senator Obama had with small-business owner Joe Wurzelbacher, who has a small plumbing company that will suffer under Barack Obama's proposed tax plan, and Obama's reply that it was for his intent to "spread the wealth around".
