Obama down in recent polls
It seems like the fallout over Jeremiah Wright hasn't been good for Obama in the polls. Check out the results from three Survey USA polls conducted in the past week showing the differences in a McCain/Hillary matchup vs. McCain/Obama:
SurveyUSA Ohio General Election Poll, conducted March 14th-16th, 2008![]()
- John McCain 50%
- Barack Obama 43%
- Hillary Clinton 50%
- John McCain 44%
SurveyUSA Kentucky General Election Poll, Conducted March 14th-16th, 2008
- John McCain 64%
- Barack Obama 28%
- John McCain 53%
- Hillary Clinton 43%
SurveyUSA Missouri General Election Poll, conducted March 14th-16th, 2008
- John McCain 53%
- Barack Obama 39%
- John McCain 48%
- Hillary Clinton 46%
I haven't dug into the cross-tabs yet, but I suspect he's losing big ground among white Democrats and independents. Good news for for Hillary...and for Republicans, (whichever of them wins).

Update: the latest Gallup poll shows Hillary with a 7% lead over Obama among Democrats nationwide. Wizbang says "the Witch isn't dead!".
