Obama's recent spending "cuts" - in pictures

The good folks over at Heritage produced this graphic to give you a visual idea of just how "impressive" Obama's spending "cuts" that he announced this week truly are.  In this case, a picture is worth at least a hundred-million words.

Kinda' defines "change", doesn't it?  (As in "keep the...")

So what's this really about?  It's about trying to "butch up" his image when it comes to big government spending.  They understand that being seen as a profligate spender is starting to hurt him with independents and conservative Democrats.  And it's one of the biggest issues, (if the the biggest), that Republicans could use against the Democrats in the 2010 mid-term elections.
