Looky, looky... The latest NBC News poll from PA [5] shows some tightening going on. They've got it at 47% Obama, 43% McCain...with 9% undecided. That's a margin of error race.
I think it shows a fews things:
1) state polls are usually lagging indicators to how the national polls go...and the national polls have been tightening, (3 polls yesterday had it at a 3 point race nationally)...
2) this is the same state where Bambi got whipped big-time by Hillary...
3) this state has a lot in common w/Ohio...and I think "Joe the Plumber" is selling well there, cutting into Obama's economic message...
4) this is the state that prompted Obama's comment about people "clinging to God and guns [6]"...
and 5) this is the same state who's got an incumbent Democrat congressman (John Murtha) that has referred to his constituents as "racists" and "rednecks [7]".Stir it all up in a big gumbo and you might just have a recipe for McCain putting this one in the red column.
