In case you haven't heard, the RNC met last week and it's Rules Committee passed a proposal that takes a shot at fixing the front-loaded presidential primary mess by spreading things out a bit...and keeping smaller states up at the front of the pack. It still has to clear the full committee and then the national convention this summer, but it's a good start.

Rightroots has started a campaign encouraging conservatives to ahead and begin to pony up some dough for the Republicans...specifically the Presidential candidate(s). You can also inbed their widgett on any third party sites (if you have a blog or other website yourself) and encourage your visitors to pitch in as well.
Romney announced that he's withdrawing from the race today via his speech to conservatives at the CPAC conference.
Mitt Romney told a conservative group briefly stunned silent by the news that he is suspending his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
Today is Ronald Reagan's birthday. I believe he would be taken aback if he were alive to witness what is taking place within the Republican party today. Assuming Senator John McCain wins the GOP nomination, it will show how the party has been ideologically transformed since President Reagan so adroitly communicated the conservative core values which defined the Republican party in the 1980's. read more »
