The Republican National Convention is just a month away and John McCain could be picking his running mate any day now.

Gas & GOP candidates

If gas prices are caused by speculation and shortages....
How about releasing the names of the major speculators to the public so we know who is picking our pockets.
And as for supply and demand shortages...just the threat of greater supply will drive prices down in a short period of time.

When is the President going to talk to the nation, explain the reality of Washington and who has been strangling the economy and help out all the Republican candidates who are also running?
As the head of the GOP and the nation, he needs to deliver a coaches' pep talk to the nation to get the real players [voters] fired up about real change and help them understand they still control the future of the USA....not the media.
