Tales from the Front In Wisconsin
We Are Watching You
Outrage, is how I feel.
In a sign of our Orwellian future, an 8 ½ x 11 mailing arrived on Friday, from the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund, a Democrat/union front group. On it there's a table consisting of five columns, with the headers: Name, Address, Nov '08, Nov '10, and June 5th. Within the table the name and address of a family member appears prominently at the top of a list that also shows the names and addresses of 12 other people on our street. Below the November 2008 and 2010 columns, it says VOTED for each individual, except for one neighbor, who did not vote in one of the elections.
The June 5th column is, of course, still blank. This mailing did not arrive in a sealed envelope; instead it’s a large postcard, readily available for any and all to see who voted and who did not. The section above the table contains the ominous wording; ‘Who votes is public record!” and then, at the end, “After the June 5th election, public records will tell everyone who voted and who didn’t.” The meaning is quite clear and threatening - we don’t know who you voted for, but if you didn’t vote, we know you did not support Tom Barrett.
The message ends with ‘Do your civic duty – vote.” They might have well said “Do your civic duty, Comrade – vote.” "Something wicked this way comes": Fascism in the form of Democrat Party brown shirt tactics arrive in Wisconsin. read more »
And While We're At It.
Governor Scott Walker. Former Texas Solicitor-General Ted Cruz. More fodder for the DeMarxists waking nightmares. Two more examples of the swelling tide of Constitutional Conservatism which is beginning to sweep across the nation, as more and more of the so-called silent majority are awakening to the real and present danger of the nascent tyranny represented by Barry Hussein Obama and his communist-light DeMarxists.
Ted Cruz
Nothing is working for the Democrat machine that once seemed so invincible. If the polls hold true, both Scott Walker and Texas favorite Ted Cruz will enjoy substantial victories in their respective races. read more »
