In the 007 movie Goldfinger, there was a character named Pussy Galore. In typical Ian Fleming style his character names often had double meanings. This was also made light of in the Austin Powers movies.

Sometime between when I was a child growing up in the 70's and 80's and today, we became soft. I can't put my finger on where or when it started exactly, but it has happened. I'd like to think it started with over bearing mom's wanting to protect their children from every ill of the world.
