White House Hopes Small Adjustments to Package Can Get $700 Billion Package Votes

The White House has begun to consider "small policy changes" that it hopes will garner the needed votes to resurrect a $700 billion financial bailout rejected by the House of Representatives on Monday, a top White House adviser said on Tuesday.
